Andrew Sleighter started in comedy looking for the perfect funny line to open a biography. Since then, Andrew’s laid-back style and clever writing has won him appreciation from fans and respect from his peers.
Andrew performed on Last Comic Standing , recorded a comedy special for Dry Bar and made his late-night stand-up debut on Conan. He's also written and performed sketch comedy for Comedy Central and wrote and blogged for the Sports Show with Norm Macdonald on Comedy Central. Most recently Andrew appeared on the Late Late Show with James Corden .
A regular at colleges and comedy clubs across the country, Andrew’s also performed at some of the most prestigious comedy festivals in and out of the country including Bumbershoot, Bridgetown, Gilda’s Laugh Fest, The Aspen Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull, and the Johnny Carson Great American Comedy Festival.
Andrew’s comedy has the ability to reach wide ranges of audiences and works in a diversity of rooms. Reliable and consistent, he rarely ends a show by lighting the stage on fire out of rage. Most importantly, he’s constantly fascinated by and eager to keep learning about stand-up.
Johnny Beehner puts on a good, clean show that will leave you in stitches. He’s gives you everything you want from a comic: silliness, likeability, and a whole lot of fun.
With a background in improvisational theater, including training at Chicago’s prestigious Second City and the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles, Johnny brings a very unique style to the stage. He made his network television debut in January of 2015 as one of the last comedians to appear on the Late Show with David Letterman. He has also made numerous appearances on FOX’s Laughs , has appeared on AXS’s Gotham Comedy Live , and regularly appears on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Show. His comedy can be heard regularly on XM/ Sirius Satellite radio.
Johnny’s other notable achievements include winning first place in Comcast’s 2014 season of “Trial By Laughter,” placing third in Atlanta’s 2014
“Laughing Skull Comedy Festival,” and making it to the finals in the 2012 “
Great American Comedy Festival .
” He was named one of Ricky Gervais’ Top 5 picks in the “Just Sayin” stand up contest.
He lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with his long-suffering wife and three children.
